Crewmind is purpose-built as a dedicated contacts application aimed at individuals who prioritize maintaining consistent communication with a select group of close contacts. It integrates seamlessly with the iOS address book, providing real-time insights into the availability, general location, local time, mood, and preferred communication methods of your contacts.

How does Crewmind operate?

After downloading the app and verifying your phone number, Crewmind syncs with your iPhone’s address book. You can invite selected contacts to establish a connection within the app, allowing for richer interaction and awareness of each other’s current status.

<li>Do Not Disturb: The app shows which contacts are currently unavailable and for what duration, enabling you to time your outreach effectively.</li>
<li>Location: The app provides an approximate location of your contacts worldwide; location sharing can be toggled on or off at any time.</li>
<li>Local Time: CrewMind displays your contacts’ local times based on their geographic locations, simplifying scheduling across time zones.</li>
<li>Moods: Recognizing the importance of mental health, the app allows users and contacts to share their current emotional state, fostering empathetic connections. This feature is particularly valued by its users.</li>
<li>Modes of Communication: Supporting iMessage, FaceTime, Phone Calls, and WhatsApp, users can select preferred communication channels per contact. For example, setting ‘Call’ when driving prevents distractions from text or video calls.</li>
<li>Privacy: User privacy is prioritized; availability and other details are concealed from contacts outside your Favourites list. Privacy settings are customizable within the app.</li>

Please note: Crewmind does not facilitate direct messaging; it merely redirects to existing communication platforms (e.g., FaceTime, iMessage, WhatsApp). The app does not access or store any data from these platforms. Connections made through Crewmind rely on your device’s internet connection (4G/3G/2G/EDGE or Wi-Fi), with associated data charges potentially applicable depending on your service provider.

Crewmind is exclusively available for iPhones; no support exists for other smartphones, tablets, or iPods at this time.

This initial version aims to provide a valuable tool for nurturing offline relationships. Feedback and ratings are appreciated to support ongoing development. Future updates with new features will be released periodically.
