How does Crewmind operate?

After downloading the app and verifying your phone number, Crewmind syncs with your iPhone’s address book. You can invite selected contacts to establish a connection within the app, allowing for richer interaction and awareness of each other’s current status.

1. Do Not Disturb: The app shows which contacts are currently unavailable and for what duration, enabling you to time your outreach effectively.
2. Location: The app provides an approximate location of your contacts worldwide; location sharing can be toggled on or off at any time.
3. Local Time: CrewMind displays your contacts’ local times based on their geographic locations, simplifying scheduling across time zones.
4. Moods: Recognizing the importance of mental health, the app allows users and contacts to share their current emotional state, fostering empathetic connections. This feature is particularly valued by its users.
5. Modes of Communication: Supporting iMessage, FaceTime, Phone Calls, and WhatsApp, users can select preferred communication channels per contact. For example, setting ‘Call’ when driving prevents distractions from text or video calls.
6. Privacy: User privacy is prioritized; availability and other details are concealed from contacts outside your Favourites list. Privacy settings are customizable within the app.

The app does not access or store any data from these platforms.
